What happens when I go for a Holistic Massage?

At your first visit you will be required to have a short consultation regarding your health. This will take approximately 15 minutes, depending on your symptoms and reasons for wanting treatment. 

From this information Charlie will put together a profile for you and tailor the massage to suit.

There are a number of factors which could prevent you from receiving a massage or your Doctor may need to confirm you are able to have treatment.

Charlie will advise you at your consultation or if you have any concerns please let her know at the time of booking.

If you have any of the following conditions you will not be able to receive treatment:

  • Heart Conditions
  • Phlebitis
  • Pregnancy
  • Thrombosis
  • Under the influence of drugs or alcohol

If you have the following conditions you will need the permission of your Doctor prior to treatment:

  • Acute Rheumatism
  • Cancer
  • Gastric Ulcers
  • Nervous or Psychotic conditions
  • Osteoporosis
  • Slipped Disc
